The EFNOTE 7X expands the EFNOTE 7 into a larger pro-style layout with three toms, a 20-inch kick, a 14-inch snare, a two-piece hi-hat, a 20-inch ride, and additional splash/FX cymbal voices. It keeps the same EFD-7 platform, so the value depends on whether you need the wider stage layout rather than the smaller EFNOTE 7 configuration.
