The Mars Maple is Mapex's maple counterpart to the Mars Birch, using 7-ply 7.2mm European maple shells with the SONIClear bearing edge and suspension system. Maple gives a warmer, rounder tone than birch, and like its sibling the kit includes a matching maple snare. It is a versatile, well-priced intermediate shell pack.
